Rinnai Infinity V16 Leaking from Pipework

Jim’s Plumbing recently attended a call out for a Rinnai Infinity V16 continuous flow gas hot water system that was leaking from the pipework around the base of the unit. Upon arrival, our plumber found that the unit was leaking from the cold water connections due to a spilt copper pipe.

Despite the fact the gas hot water service was well over 10 years of age, it was otherwise in good working order and so our plumber recommended to repair it. As usual, our plumber had the replacement pipework on board with him and was able to replace the cold water pipe in the same visit.

Although the Rinnai Infinity V16 hot water system is no longer manufactured, the current range of Rinnai continuous flow hot water systems are still extremely popular due to their compact size and exceptional water heating capacity. These small units are ideal for terrace homes or apartments where space is an issue and are ideal for small to medium sized families.
