New Rinnai Hotflo Gas system installed by Jim’s Plumbing

Our plumbers worked hard to ensure that this experience was as positive for the customer as possible.

Arriving on time and in full uniform as always.

Discussing a range of hot water options to work out which would be most suitable for the customer’s needs now and in the future.

Our plumber also explained our interest free terms* (available to approved applicants only) which the customer was excited to utilize!

The system that the customer elected to go ahead with installing was the Rinnai Hotflo gas storage unit.

Popular due to its 135L tank and ability deliver around 109L of hot water in the first hour!

This system has an energy rating of 4.7 and its tank consists of a steel tank which is vitreous enamel lined making it incredibly durable.

These Rinnai gas storage units come with an 8 year cylinder warranty.

Giving the customer has peace of mind that the system will truly go the distance.

No Interest Ever!* payment plan options availableĀ on hot water heater replacements to help ease any financial stress this burden may cause. If your hot water heater is leaking, or you have no hot water, we can often have a plumber to you within the hour*.

In replacing the old Dux hot water unit which was formerly in place at the property, it was necessary to perform a few pipe alterations as the inlets and outlets to both tanks slightly differ.

We also tested all gas pipework to ensure that the unit was not only operational but safe as well.

During the testing process our plumber identified that there was a leak somewhere, although not associated with the new hot water system.

After about an hour of testing all visible joints, a leak was found in the roof space, which was cut out and removed.

In retesting the complete gas service, there was then no drop in pressure, confirming that was the only leak that was present had been resolved.

This experience effectively illustrates why whenever carrying out any alteration to existing gas piping, we have to test the existing pipework as from time to time there are pre-existing leaks that may endanger the system and affect system operation.

If you require assistance with your existing Rinnai Hotflo gas storage boiler or are looking to upgrade to one of these fantastic systems, do not hesitate.
