Rinnai Eco 16 Continuous Flow Hot Water Replacement

Replace Rinnai Eco 16 Continuous Flow with Rinnai Infinity 16 Hot Water Unit

Our customer rang Jim’s Plumbing today wanting an upgrade on their current hot water system. It was still working and producing hot water but was not working as efficiently as it used to.

Old Rinnai Eco 16 Continuous Flow System

The customer was unsure what they wanted to replace this unit with and wanted to speak with the plumber to find the system that would best suit themselves.

When we arrived at the customer’s property we found a Rinnai eco 16 installed. This old Rinnai was around 17 years old and had only just started to die, not a bad inning for a hot water system and a great value for money.

Rinnai has since stopped making this particular unit and stopped supplying parts for its repair so we were unable to fix, however, the customer was happy with this – wanting a replacement anyway.

We suggested another continuous flow unit to be installed as they were happy with how it worked and chose its equal for the modern-day system – the Rinnai Infinity 16.

This system is even more energy efficient than the one they already had installed, with an impressive 6.2 star energy rating.

This tankless hot water system has a 12 year manufacturer warranty on the heat exchanger (tank) and it made in Japan where it is also designed to be one of the most energy efficient hot water systems in Australia.

The two units look almost identical in its size and shape – however, the technology has drastically changed in continuous flow units since the Rinnai eco was manufactured.

Rinnai claims that the Rinnai Infinity is the most energy efficient 16 litre hot water system on the market today.

This was good news for the customer who wanted a system as energy efficient as possible and to last a long time. This system also has the potential to last 15 years+.

The changeover was a very simple process with very little changes having to be made to install this new system meaning the customer had hot water running the same day as the initial call.

As you can see a powerpoint was already installed which meant we could easily plug in the new system as well as the water and gas points were nearly identical, it was a very simple conversion from old to the new – and within three hours of initially attending the property a new unit has been installed, we offered our customer the option of an interest free payment plan but the customer declined and took advantage of our mobile EFTPOS machines – and just three hours after we first arrived, we were driving to our next job.

No Interest Ever!* payment plan options availableĀ on hot water heater replacements to help ease any financial stress this burden may cause. If your hot water heater is leaking, or you have no hot water, we can often have a plumber to you within the hour*.
