A new customer contacted the offices at Jim’s Plumbing this afternoon as their old Rheemglas 90L Gas storage unit seemed to have stopped working. The customer had already had a plumber come out to see if the problem was fixable but as the unit was manufactured in 1999 the customer was advised that it was probably best to replace the unit to save money in the long run.
The customer had heard about our interest free terms* and was interested in this option as they had not budgeted for a new system but needed one fast. Our customer service team were able to organise a plumber to be dispatched and he arrived at the property within an hour* of the customer’s phone call.
The plumber was able to have a look at the old unit which was internal and suggest which replacement unit would suit the customer and their family’s hot water needs. The customer advised that due to new additions in the family they would prefer a hot water system that has a higher storage capacity than the older unit. The customer was already interested in continuing using Rheem as he was so happy with the old unit’s lifespan. With this in mind, the plumber quoted to replace the current unit with a Rheem Indoor Gas Model: 300135. This gas hot water system has a capacity of 135L which is perfect for the number of people using the system. It also comes with a 5 year warranty on the cylinder as well.
The plumber was able to go ahead with the interest free* payment option for the customer and start work straight away. The plumber was able to remove the old system and install the new one on the spot, as well as taking the old unit away, making sure to leave the space neat and tidy.
The customer was very happy as he was told by family and friends that the process could take days or even weeks. He had been calling around for quotes and was very thankful that we were able to get out to him so fast and complete the work quickly.
