Jim’s Plumbing PTR Relief Valve Replacement Service
This afternoon our Jim’s Plumbing call centre received a call from a customer who had one of our stickers on her hot water system. She called saying that she had just had her gas provider out to her home as her gas bills have been extremely high even for wintertime.
They advised her that she needed to do a gas test on her system to find a possible leak in the gas line. The customer was in need of a plumber who could come and start to work on the problem straight away. As the plumber was only a few suburbs away, he was able to be at the property within the hour.
Once the plumber was on site, he spent time doing the gas test on the mainline including the gas meter and the hot water system. Upon the plumber inspection using the compliance plate, he found the system to be a Rheem 260L storage system model number 632160NQ being made in September of 2004, making the boiler 12 years old.
Once the plumber finished his gas line testing and moved onto the Rheem 260L storage hot water system. Using his extensive knowledge and training in Rheem hot water system, he quickly determined the unit needed to have its ptr relief valve replaced. As a mobile service, we at Jim’s Plumbing pride our self’s on our vans being stocked at all times, giving the customer the best use of the plumbers time and saving you money at the end of the day.
After the plumber finished installing the necessary part, the hot water unit was again up and running. With the gas test complete, the plumber left leaving the customer with all completed certified of compliance.
The customer got a call from our customer service staff the next day to make sure she was 100% happy with the service provided by our qualified Jim’s plumber. The customer was very happy with his services and that she could pay on the day via his credit card.
All of our vans are equipped with a mobile EFTPOS machine which does accept most forms of card including Diners, MasterCard, Amex, Visa and standard bank cards.
