Replace Dux Proflo 50 litre electric storage with Dux Proflo 315 litre hot water system

After finding they were constantly running out of hot water when guests were staying and planning for a growing family in this household – our long time repeat customer called Jim’s Plumbing 1300 068 480 out again today with the intention of having a new hot water system installed to accommodate their new needs for hot water.

Upon attending to this Dux Proflo 50 litre electric storage we found why they were running out of hot water so quickly – the size of this small unit.

With a tank size of 50 litres and a storage capacity of 53 litres meant our customer was often experiencing cold water in the middle of showers and had to wait for hot water to once again be produced. After discussing a few different units with the customer, including the pros and cons of each type, the customer opted to replace their current unit with a much bigger Dux Proflo 315 litre hot water system as they were happy with the overall experience of the Dux electric model and found they had minimal maintenance issues with their old unit.

The installation was a quick one with water connections on either side of the unit on both the old and new model. The new Dux Proflo 315 litre hot water system we installed has a full 7 year warranty on the tank with Dux and a 1 year warranty on parts and labour from initial installation, this steel tank features a Duro-name to maximise the durability and life of the tank, with a storage capacity of 321 litres much larger than the 53 litres of their old unit capacity.

Both these units allow full pressure to all outlets and taps in the house. And have a clean white appearance for a modern look. We offered our customer with the full quote on our interest free terms* – which we are able to organise same day before the commencement of the work over the phone, as well as going through the paperwork with our plumber.

The customer gladly accepted this payment plan as they were also looking to get other modernising plumbing work done throughout the house in the near future through Jim’s Plumbing.

After removing the old unit we were able to dispose of it too – all-inclusive in the quote so the customer did not have to worry about any of that. And less than 4 hours after the initial arrival of our plumber, our customer had hot water and no more cold showers!
