This Bosch 13P hot water unit had been reliable for the customer over the years but needed to be replaced by Jim’s Plumbing this week
As the customer had small children in the home, he did not want to take the risk of waiting any longer to repair the system and required assistance straight away!
Luckily one of our plumbers was in the area and could be onsite within an hour of the customer’s call for help.
Once onsite our plumber quickly ascertained that this Bosch 13P continuous flow gas unit was on its last legs. The system was well outside its 2 year warranty period with the manufacturer and would need a replacement immediately.
The plumber also quickly tested and isolated a small gas leak stemming from one of the pipes leading into the unit. Fortunately, the plumber was able to provide the customer with a quotation to replace the system like for like that very same day.
Due to the cold weather that we are experiencing at the moment, the customer needed hot water restored to the property as soon as possible and gratefully accepted the quotation provided, which included repair of the gas leak and disposal of the old unit. The customer was also able to utilize our interest free terms which are available to approved applicants.
The Bosch 13P continuous flow TF 400-NG1TR unit is a favourite amongst many of our customers that reside in areas where the temperature does not drop below 0 degrees Celsius over winter.
This system is not suited to regions where the ambient temperature is lower than 0. When deciding if a Bosch 13P system is right for you and your family, it is also important to consider that this unit should not be installed in areas where water is sourced from bores or artesian wells as these water sources render the unit susceptible to failure and may void the system’s warranty.
Aspects of water quality such as pH, saturation index, total hardness, chlorides, sodium and iron content of water supply to your Bosch 13P model TF 400-NG1TR may also affect its functionality and if you are unsure as to whether these parameters are within the required limits, it may be beneficial to seek a full water quality analysis to avoid disappointment.
If you require assistance with your existing Bosch 13P hot water tank or are looking to upgrade to one of these great units, contact Jim’s Plumbing today on 1300 133 509.
