Our plumbers are often required to get into small spaces on the job, and today we had a customer call through to our Jim’s Plumbing line on 1300 068 480 to explain that his gravity fed, Everhot, electric 60 Litre hot water system located in the roof was leaking quite profusely. Obviously our call centre operator understood the amount of serious damage this issue could create and booked in a plumber to attend right away to avoid any further damage from occurring to the premises.
Our plumber was able to attend within the hour* to site which our customer was extremely pleased about. To avoid further damage, our plumber got straight to work, squeezing into the roof cavity to assess the situation first hand. Our plumber was able to identify almost immediately that this unit was not repairable and that the customer would need to look into replacing the unit.
When it comes to replacing hot water systems, our plumbers aim to make the process as simple as possible for each of our customers. On-site our plumber was able to explain which options are best suited for our customer’s premises/household in regards to the number of occupants and rooms. He was able to answer any questions for the customer and was able to provide our customer with a quote on the spot!
Fortunately, the desired hot water system which the customer had requested was able to be sourced on the same day*, therefore, being able to complete the entire installation of the brand new hot water service within just a few hours of the initial booking call, diminishing the possibility of further damage from the hot water system and providing hot water to the customer and their family!
Our Jim’s Plumbing vans come completely stocked to site with installed GPS tracking systems and latest technology equipment meaning we have the option of payment by card with our installed secured EFTPOS machine. Along with this payment option, we have the option of paying in cash and cheque but in this scenario, our customer was delighted to hear about our interest free payment plan and took advantage of this option.
