Today at Jim’s Plumbing one of our call centre operators had a web enquiry come through on our website, from a new customer. The description of the work required was a Bosch Water Wizard 13P no longer producing hot water and had begun leaking from the top of the unit. Our call centre operator called the customer back almost immediately after receiving the web enquiry, to organise for a time for our qualified plumber to attend.
Once verifying a suitable time frame for our customer to have a plumber attend, the job was booked in and ready to go. Our plumbers are experienced hot water specialists, they have the ability to work on a large range of hot water systems which is always reassuring for our customers. We never send out apprentices, so our customers know that our plumbers are efficient when working while providing quality work.
Once on site, the customer had advised that he was quite furious with a previous company which attended to the site to look at the hot water system, told him it was not salvageable, ordered payment to be made and did not provide the customer with a solution to fix the issue. The customer had been left for 2 days with no hot water and no plumber would come out on such short notice.
The plumber tended to the hot water system and verified that the system was definitely not repairable, so the plumber got straight to work in writing up a quote for the customer, to provide them with a solution that the customer can turn to. However, once the quote was completed, the customer decided to accept the quote on the spot and the plumber was able to commence work almost immediately, by sourcing the desired system and installing it, giving the customer a same day service*, providing services that other plumbing companies can’t.
On completion of the work, the customer was happy to hear that, in terms of payment options, we had a variety of ways to organise payment. With either opting for payment in cash, cheque, credit (installed secure EFTPOS machines) or our interest free payment plan** option, which this customer took advantage of.
