Bosch 13P Hot Water Unit TF325-NG1TR
It was another busy day at Jim’s Plumbing today but we were able to squeeze in a quick repair job on one of our loyal customer’s Bosch 13P hot water system. Our customer called us around midday after he realised that the pilot light on his Bosch 13P unit had gone out. This particular customer has always been very self-sufficient, and he had run through a series of tests prior to contacting our call centre in an attempt to rectify the unit fault.
As per the manufacturer’s recommendations, the customer had ensured that all hot water taps on the property were turned off and that it had been more than 5 minutes since the pilot light had been extinguished. He then attempted to relight the pilot light, however, at this time he noticed that the flame was burning yellow, which is abnormal. Fortunately, as our customer was paying close attention he was able to realise that the unit was not functioning as it should be and contacted Jim’s Plumbing immediately.
Once our plumber arrived onsite he was able to quickly identify and rectify the unit fault. He applauded the customer for putting safety first and contacting Jim’s Plumbing at the first sign of an issue, as gas related issues can be hazardous especially if left untended to. The Bosch unit was outside of its 2 year warranty, and as such the customer was pleased to be able to pay on the day through the use of our convenient mobile EFTPOS facilities.
