Repair Aquamax Gas Storage Hot Water System
A new customer contacted the offices at Jim’s Plumbing as they advised that they had come home from a family holiday and noticed that the hot water had completely stopped coming through from their new AquaMAX Gas Storage system.
He was concerned as it was only a newly installed gas hot water system and the house was only a year old. The customer had read up online about what can possibly go wrong with these particular units and was hoping it was just the thermocouple that needed replacing.
Our friendly bookings team were able to get in contact with one of Jim’s local plumbers in the area and send him straight away to see how he could help. The plumber arrived within the hour* of his call and was able to go ahead straight away and check over the unit.
The plumber was able to let the customer know that it was the thermocouple that needed replacing as the customer suspected. The customer was happy to go ahead with this and the plumber was able to efficiently go ahead and replace this on the spot for the customer – as our vans are always fully stocked with basic parts.
The customer also mentioned that they had a gas appliance outside that they no longer used so the plumber was able to disconnect this and capped the gas off at the customer’s request.
One of the great things about Jim’s Plumbing is that we only charge for each 15 minutes that we are on site – meaning our customers only pay for the time used. All of our plumbers are fully qualified with years of experience and they are all licensed gas fitters as well – This means that we have more flexibility in terms of what jobs we can do.
The customer was happy that the plumber was able to disconnect and cap off the gas to the outdoor appliance as well as he had been meaning to do this for a while but hadn’t gotten around to organising this.
Once the plumber had tidied up and left site, our friendly customer service team were able to get back in contact with the customer and make sure that he was happy with our services and we always like to check whether they would like to leave any feedback as well. We are always trying to improve our services and our aim is to make things as convenient as possible for our customers.
The customer was very satisfied with how quickly the whole process was and was very happy with both the plumber and the efficiency of the bookings team, as he advised in the past he has not received such a high level of customer service from a plumbing company and advised he would certainly use us again in the future.
